Motorcycle lessons and IBT training in Kells
Up in the north of the county, Kells gives riders a good mix of town streets and open road. The N3 runs straight through, so once you've got your basics down there's no shortage of places to practise the faster stuff safely.
Getting on the road in Kells
Riders from Kells often tell us the hardest part is just making a start. We take that off your plate. The first lesson is somewhere quiet, building slowly until you're reading traffic on the main routes without thinking about it. Whether you want a scooter for the commute or a full A licence, the steps are the same and we'll walk you through each one.
We also train riders from Carlanstown, Crossakiel and the villages towards Oldcastle.

No machine of your own? You'll ride ours, with the gear sorted, so there's nothing to buy before you start.
Small groups
On the road it's usually one or two riders per instructor: calm, RSA approved and at a pace that suits you.

Your IBT happens on our training ground at Fairyhouse Racecourse, about 49 km from Kells. You finish with your IBT certificate.

From Kells, the closest centre we cover is Navan, at the Government Offices in Athlumney, Kilcairn (C15 FEF2). We also do pre-tests at all seven of the RSA's Dublin test centres, Mullingar and Dundalk.
