Privacy and cookies
This page explains what information O'Neill Motorcycle Training collects when you use this website or get in touch, what we do with it and which cookies we use.
Who we are
O'Neill Motorcycle Training is run by John O'Neill. We decide how your information is used, which makes us the data controller.
- Address: Fairyhouse Racecourse, Ballybin, Ratoath, Co. Meath, A85 XK30
- Email: info@meathmotorcycleacademy.ie

What we collect
- When you fill in a form on this site: your phone number, first name and email address, and anything else you choose to add, such as the training you're interested in, the licence you're going for and your message. We also record the page you sent it from, the date and time, and your IP address, which helps us block spam.
- When you call, text, WhatsApp or email us: the details you send us. WhatsApp messages also go through WhatsApp, which has its own privacy policy.
- If you accept analytics cookies: how you use the site, for example which pages you visit, and how you move around a page: clicks, taps and scrolling. Our forms are never recorded, so nothing you type into them reaches these tools. See Cookies below.
Why we use it
- To call you back, answer your questions and book your training. We use your details for this because you've asked us to, and because we need them to give you the training you book.
- To keep a record of enquiries and protect the site from spam and misuse. This is in our legitimate interest in running the business safely.
- To see how people use the site so we can improve it, only if you accept analytics cookies. This is based on your consent, and you can withdraw it at any time.
We don't sell your information, and we won't send you marketing unless you ask for it.
Who else handles it
We only share your information with the companies that help us run this website and reply to you:
- Hostinger, which hosts this website on servers in France.
- Our email provider in Ireland, which delivers your enquiry to our inbox.
- Talaso BrandLab, the agency that built this website and looks after it. It keeps backups of the website, which include enquiries, and doesn't use them for anything else.
- Google, for Google Analytics, only if you accept analytics cookies. Google Ireland Limited provides the service, and some data may be transferred to the United States under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework.
- Microsoft, for Microsoft Clarity, only if you accept analytics cookies. Microsoft Ireland Operations Limited provides the service and keeps the data in Microsoft's cloud, and some data may be transferred to Microsoft Corporation in the United States under standard contractual clauses. We tell Clarity not to share anything with Microsoft Advertising.
How long we keep it
We keep enquiries for as long as we need them to reply to you and arrange your training. If you train with us, we keep your details while we need them for your training and to meet legal obligations such as keeping accounts. Google Analytics deletes its data automatically after the period set in our account. Microsoft Clarity keeps recordings of visits for 30 days, and a small number, such as ones we save, for up to 9 months.
Your rights
You can ask for a copy of the information we hold about you, ask us to correct or delete it, or object to how we use it. You can also withdraw your consent to analytics cookies at any time. Email info@meathmotorcycleacademy.ie and we'll reply within one month.
If you're not happy with how we've handled your information, you can complain to the Data Protection Commission at dataprotection.ie.

Cookies are small files a website stores in your browser. We only use analytics cookies from Google Analytics and Microsoft Clarity, and only if you choose "Accept analytics" in the cookie notice. If you reject them or close the notice, none are set.
