Learning to ride from Navan
Most Navan riders we train are starting from scratch, and that's exactly how we like it. We begin somewhere calm and work up to busier roads once you're comfortable. There's no rush and no set script, just steady progress at a pace that suits you.
We also cover the villages around Navan, from Kilmessan and Bective across to Wilkinstown and Donaghmore.

No machine of your own? You'll ride ours, with the gear sorted, so there's nothing to buy before you start.

On the road it's usually one or two riders per instructor: calm, RSA approved and at a pace that suits you.

Got your test in Navan? Your pre-test can be there too. The RSA test centre is at the Government Offices in Athlumney, Kilcairn (C15 FEF2). We do pre-tests around it often, and you'll practise the U-turn, the slow ride and the emergency braking on the roads nearby before the day comes.

Where we train: Fairyhouse Racecourse, Ballybin, Ratoath, Co. Meath, A85 XK30. That's about 33 km from Navan by road, mostly on the M3. Buses stop right outside the racecourse.
