Motorcycle lessons and IBT training in Louth
Louth might be the smallest county in Ireland, but it's packed with riders ready to get on two wheels. From Drogheda on the Boyne up to Dundalk near the border, the county has quiet roads to learn on and open routes to grow into.
Learning to ride from Co. Louth
Most Louth riders we train are starting from scratch, and that's exactly how we like it. We begin somewhere calm, then work up to busier roads once you're comfortable. No rush, no set script, just steady progress at a pace that suits you.
We cover the whole Wee County, from Drogheda and Termonfeckin in the south up through Ardee, Dundalk and the Cooley peninsula.

No machine of your own? You'll ride ours, with the gear sorted, so there's nothing to buy before you start.
Small groups
On the road it's usually one or two riders per instructor: calm, RSA approved and at a pace that suits you.

Your IBT happens on our training ground at Fairyhouse Racecourse, about 29 km from Drogheda. You finish with your IBT certificate.

In Louth itself we cover Dundalk, on the Newry Road (A91 RY8X). From the Drogheda side, Navan is closer. We also do pre-tests at all seven of the RSA's Dublin test centres and at Mullingar.

How to get to our training ground from Louth
Where we train: Fairyhouse Racecourse, Ballybin, Ratoath, Co. Meath, A85 XK30. That's about 29 km from Drogheda by road, mostly on the R152, and about 64 km from Dundalk, via the M1 and R152. Buses stop right outside the racecourse.
